About Beit Echad

Our first group grew out of a small group of people praying for Israel. We started meeting in 2013 on a Thursday evening until 2019. The group is now meeting on the 7th day to celebrate the Shabbat and getting into the Jewish roots through study of the weekly Torah readings or Parashah that includes the B'rit Hadashah.  This group then expanded to a number of other small groups, but with Covid we now only operate through Zoom meetings and Whatsapp:

  • On Shabbat we are  holding Kabbalat Shabbat on Friday evening and Saturdays Torah services, prayer & Fasting or Discpleship gatherings starting at 11 am.  All welcome to join us.
  • A Shiur (Torah study) on Tuesdays starting 7:30pm where we usually study the weekly Parashah, but at present are working through 'The Fall of Edom' by Rabbi Shapira. 
  • A Brit Hadashah (Renewed Covenant) study on Wednesdays at 7:30pm where we are presently looking at the Book of Romans and 'The Jewish DNA of Romans 11' by Rabbi Shapira.
  • We also celebrate the other biblical feasts of the Lord. Any one in the Chorley area is welcome to join us .

Our passion is to teach the Jewish root of our faith, the place of Israel in Scripture and The Feasts of God [The Moedim] as they point to Yeshua haMashiach.  The Lord is a restoring   God and He wants to restore the Jewish root so we will be ready for His return, both Jew and Gentile together as one. ​
