[The Letters of Redemption]
The 4 Names of Mashiach in the Letter Nun
Noon and Tsadik both have an open and closed form and are known as 2 of the letters of redemption
THE LETTER Tsadik צץ (regular & sofit)
What is the Messianic Connection to Tzaddik?
Jeremiah 23:5&6 ~ "Behold, the days come, saith the L-RD, that I will raise unto David a righteous shoot ( tsemach, צמח ), and He shall reign as king and prosper, and shall execute justice and righteousness in the land."
He will be called the great and righteous Tzaddik … he is called by His name and His nature will be from above, he will be heavenly … and that is why He will be able to be called by [what we call] His Tetragram.
If we were to attribute one word, how would we categorise the Messiah: King? Messiah? Grace? Compassion ?? … the scriptures clearly tell us that He and this one attribute can be found in the letter Tsaddik … He is called Adonai Tzidkeinu צדקנו because He will execute Tzaddika (righteousness)
THE LETTER Nun נן (regular and sofit)
The word Anav ענו = humility and the nature of the Messiah:
Anav also talks about being pure:
THE MESSIAH AND THE LETTER NUN
Sanhedrin 98B: (4 different schools of thought) ~ What will His name be called?
If we are to take all four of those name … Menachem Shiloh Yinon Chaniah, the first letter of each of those make the name Mashiach … what is He going to do when He comes?
He will do the process of Tikkun = to repair and restore before revealing Himself
Think about this:
The word Tikkun … If you take the word Tikkun and break it down, the very first word is Teko = Tie (as in indecisiveness)
THE LETTER Tsadik צץ (regular & sofit)
- Tsadik represents “Hook”
- Also represents the greatest attributes of The Messiah of Israel
- Gematria value of 90, and it is mentioned 137 times.
- Sound is a "Ts" sound
What is the Messianic Connection to Tzaddik?
Jeremiah 23:5&6 ~ "Behold, the days come, saith the L-RD, that I will raise unto David a righteous shoot ( tsemach, צמח ), and He shall reign as king and prosper, and shall execute justice and righteousness in the land."
- This is a Messianic prophecy, how do we know?
- Because it starts with the words “Behold, the days come…”
He will be called the great and righteous Tzaddik … he is called by His name and His nature will be from above, he will be heavenly … and that is why He will be able to be called by [what we call] His Tetragram.
- The word Nun is derived from Aramaic and means “fish”
- Gematria = 50
- One form is straight and in another is bent … why?
- Rabbis in Shabbat 104a explain, the bent Noon and the straight Noon are the faithful ~ only if its bent which will ultimately be faithful and be straightened.
- Bent Noon = represents submission, one who bends down. In order to be fit to serve the Kingdom of G-D, he has to be bent, willing to be submissive in this world which will make him upright in the world to come.
- One has to bend down in this world in order for him to stand tall in the world to come.
- What is the key ingredient? Submission in this world … HUMILITY … (remembering Moses).
The word Anav ענו = humility and the nature of the Messiah:
- Yeshua is submitted to His Father … when He sweats blood, and He submits His will to The Father.
- In this word Anav, He is referring to being humble. What is He telling us?
- In order for us to receive Him, in order for us to be a disciple and live a life that is Messiah centred, the first thing we have to do is humble ourselves. We become “anav” to Him but also to each other … and this is why the Noon is bent. So one day G-D can come and take those things that are bent and straighten them up … the power of the resurrection!
- We don’t have to resurrect ourselves, we don’t have to puff ourselves up, or to prove ourselves … we need to do the opposite and lower ourselves to the lowest place which allows G-D to come and straighten us and make us like the final noon in the world to come.
Anav also talks about being pure:
- The Exodus story in the Torah is mentioned exactly 50 times … to represent the noon, the purity and the submission to Hashem … the 50th time is when freedom comes!
- Messiah, through His submission, He becomes the centre of the world to come
- Argument within Jewish School thoughts: What will be the name of Messiah?
THE MESSIAH AND THE LETTER NUN
Sanhedrin 98B: (4 different schools of thought) ~ What will His name be called?
If we are to take all four of those name … Menachem Shiloh Yinon Chaniah, the first letter of each of those make the name Mashiach … what is He going to do when He comes?
He will do the process of Tikkun = to repair and restore before revealing Himself
Think about this:
The word Tikkun … If you take the word Tikkun and break it down, the very first word is Teko = Tie (as in indecisiveness)
- All the divisions, arguments and so on … will be repaired and fixed by the One who is the Noon, the straight and righteous One.
- Yehoshia, son of Noon - Joshua, called the son of the letter Noon
- This means he was pure … his father appears once in the scriptures (1 Chron 7:21) from the tribe of Ephraim
- Why is it that Joshua is also known as son of the letter Noon?
- Joshua was the apprentice of Moses (who was the highest one in Judaism, the greatest prophet)
- The Noon is Moses but a picture of the greatest Noon who is Yeshua
- Joshua was the spiritual son of the one who will be like the Noon
- Joshua was pure and yet he submitted and was humble.
- Yeshua was the most humble whoever walked the face of the earth. Who are we humble to? Accountable to? Who are we submitted to?
Who are we humble to? Accountable to? Who are we submitted to?
